DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We want to be upfront with you. While we do our very best to provide a reliable, safe, and consistent service, we can’t guarantee that everything will always be perfect. There may be times when services are unavailable, delayed, or interrupted, and we may need to make changes or pause services without notice.
By using our services, you agree that you do so at your own risk. Unless we’ve clearly stated otherwise in writing, all services and products provided through the services are supplied “as is” and “as available.” This means we don’t make any promises or guarantees about performance, reliability, results, or suitability for any particular purpose. This also includes, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, ownership, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kōra Pilates Collective and our team — including directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, and licensors — are not responsible for any losses, damages, or claims that may arise from using our services or products. This covers both direct and indirect issues, such as lost income, profits, revenue, savings, data, or opportunities, as well as injuries, errors, or problems caused by interruptions, content errors, or other service issues — even if we were warned that such issues might occur.
Where local laws do not allow us to fully limit liability for certain damages, our responsibility will be restricted to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates that you accept the updated Terms & Conditions.
Membership and Casual Terms and Conditions
Kōra membership terms & conditions have been created to ensure maximum enjoyment and usage of the facility and its services to our members and guests. On acceptance by Kōra Pilates Collective of this agreement you will be referred to as the “member” and have the usage rights and obligation as detailed below.
1. MEMBERSHIP TYPE AND DURATION
1.1 By signing this Membership Agreement, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and to use only the facilities and services included in your chosen membership type. Memberships are valid only while current and fully paid to date.
1.2 All memberships have a minimum term of 8 paying weeks (excluding any complimentary or promotional free periods). After this period, your membership will automatically continue on the same terms until you or Kōra Pilates Collective choose to terminate it. To cancel your membership after the initial term, you must provide 14 days’ written notice as per our termination policy.
2. MEMBERSHIP ACCESS
2.1 Membership begins on the date shown in your Kōra Studio app. Your membership allows 24/7 access to the facilities and services included in your membership type.
2.2 Membership is personal and cannot be assigned or transferred to another person unless authorised by Kōra Pilates Collective. Bringing unauthorised guests may result in a tailgate fee of $40, which will be charged to the member responsible. To book with a friend, please contact the studio to advise that you will be sharing a Sauna room so that we can allocate their spot. Credit(s) will be deducted from their membership or a casual fee will be required at check in (for non-members).
2.3 Access to our studio is granted via the Kōra Studio app, in accordance with your chosen membership type. Please ensure that you have location services on at all times for our door scanners to grant access.
2.4 Bookings are essential for all services and can be made up to 5 minutes before the session start time, provided there is availability. You may not use any service without a prior booking. This ensures your reservation is secure and keeps access fair for all members and guests. For more information see “Bookings and Cancellations”.
2.5 Age Restrictions: For the health and safety of minors, Reformer Pilates at Kōra is available to members and guests aged 14 and above. Recovery services, including compression, saunas, ice baths, and related facilities, are available from age 16. Any member or guest under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete and consent to this agreement and be accompanied by that parent or guardian while using the studio. The accompanying parent or guardian must hold a valid membership or pay for a casual visit.
24/7 access is restricted to members aged 18 and above. Kōra Pilates Collective reserves the right to refuse access to any member or guest who does not comply with these age requirements.
2.6 Inductions: All members and guests must complete a short induction during staffed hours before using any Kōra Pilates Collective facilities. Inductions can be booked via the Kōra app or by calling the studio. This ensures that everyone understands how to use the facilities safely and helps us maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
3. MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT
3.1 By providing your bank account details and confirming this payment, you agree to this Direct Debit Request and the Direct Debit Request Service Agreement, and authorise Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd ACN 160 180 343 Direct Debit User ID 507156 (“Stripe”) to debit your account through the Bulk Electronic Clearing System (BECS) on behalf of Kōra Pilates Collective for any amounts separately communicated to you. You certify that you are either an account holder or an authorised signatory on the account listed above.
3.2 Membership fees are billed fortnightly in advance. Members are responsible for keeping their payment details correct and up to date.
3.3 All casual sessions are required to be paid upfront, prior to booking.
3.4 Payments are final and non-refundable unless required by law. Any disputed payments must be raised in writing within 14 days of the transaction. You agree not to initiate chargebacks or reversals without first contacting us to attempt resolution.
3.5 A dishonour fee of $9 may be charged for each failed or declined payment.
3.6 Kōra Pilates Collective reserves the right to change membership prices. Members will be provided with a minimum of 14 days’ notice of any increase. If you do not accept the price change, you may cancel your membership in writing, without penalty.
3.7 If a due direct debit payment is not made, we will contact you to advise of the owed fees. If you need to update your payment details at any time, you can do so through your profile on our Kōra Studio App, or by contacting us during staffed hours.
3.8 During any period in which membership fees are not paid, Kōra Pilates Collective may suspend your membership and deactivate your key access until your account is brought back up to date.
4. CANCELLATION, TERMINATION AND REFUNDS
4.1 Kōra Pilates Collective reserves the right to cancel or suspend memberships at its discretion. Members may cancel their membership by providing a minimum of 14 days’ written notice, aligned with their regular full payment cycle. Any fees due within the notice period remain payable and will be collected as scheduled.
4.2 Cancelling your direct debit or payment instruction with your bank does not constitute cancellation of your membership. Written notice must be received in order for the cancellation process to be completed.
4.3 If your account is on a reduced or hold fee during the notice period, it will revert to the full membership rate for the remainder of your notice term.
4.4 All membership and casual session payments are non-refundable. All fees remain payable, regardless of usage, except where otherwise agreed at the discretion of Kōra Pilates Collective.
5. MEMBERSHIP HOLD
5.1 Life happens, and we get it. Members can pause their membership for up to 12 weeks in a 12-month period. To place your membership on hold, just give us 7 days’ written notice with your start and return dates. Holds will be applied in line with your payment schedule, so dates may be adjusted slightly to match your billing cycle. Your usual payments will restart automatically when your hold ends. If your return falls partway through a payment period, a pro-rated payment will be collected to cover the remainder of that period.
5.2 Medical Exceptions: If you need to take time off for medical reasons, there’s no limit on the length of your hold - just provide a medical certificate with an estimated return date.
5.3 FIFO Members / Special Circumstances: For FIFO schedules or other unique situations, speak with management to arrange a suspension that works for you.
6. BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATION
At Kōra, we aim to provide flexible scheduling and respect the time of all our guests and members. For this reason bookings are essential for all services.
6.1 You can reserve your session up to 5 minutes before the session start time, provided there is availability, in our Kōra Studio app or by calling the studio during staffed hours.
6.2 Door access is only granted when you have a booking and you may access the studio up to 15 minutes prior to your scheduled session.
6.3 You may not use any service without a prior booking. This ensures your reservation is secure and keeps access fair for all members and guests.
6.4 Sessions can be canceled or rescheduled up to 2 hours before via the Kōra Studio app, phone, or email. Cancellations cannot be made via social media.
6.5 Late cancellations: Cancelling your session with less than 2 hours notice will incur a $5 fee.
6.6 No-shows: Not showing up for your scheduled session will result in loss of session credit.
6.7 Repeated no-shows may lead to a formal warning and, for members on a membership plan, may be treated as a breach of the membership agreement, potentially resulting in suspension or cancellation.
7. BEHAVIOUR AND CONDUCT
Kōra Pilates Collective is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all members, guests and staff. All visitors are expected to behave in a manner that ensures the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of others at all times, including during 24/7 access hours. 7.2 Guests and members with 24/7 access must adhere to the same high standards of conduct at all times. Access may be revoked immediately if at any time, a member or guest:
Compromises the safety of themselves or others

7.4 Accountability: All visitors are responsible for knowing and following Kōra’s policies. Any unauthorized use, failure to comply with instructions, unsafe behaviour, or consumption of alcohol or illegal substances on the premises may result in suspension or termination, and guests or members may be held financially responsible for any resulting damages.
8. HEALTH, SAFETY AND RISK
By joining Kōra Pilates Collective, you confirm and agree that:
You have no medical condition preventing safe participation in the use of facilities. You are encouraged to complete a pre-exercise screening (APSS) and seek medical advice if unsure.

11. PRIVACY AND DATA
Kōra Pilates Collective respects your privacy and handles your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. By joining, you agree that we may collect and use personal information including your name, contact details, health information, and payment details for the purposes of managing your membership, guest profile, providing services, and communicating with you about classes, events, and offers.
